Terms of Service

The agreement between you and BusinessVeno when you use our service.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use businessveno.com and the BusinessVeno service. The service is provided by XVeno v/Saroj Adhikari (CVR 46872614), a sole proprietorship owned by Saroj Adhikari, Fiskerhusene 29, 2620 Albertslund, Denmark ("BusinessVeno", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you use BusinessVeno on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may accept the terms for it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

BusinessVeno is for businesses only. It is not offered to consumers. When you create an account or subscribe, you confirm that you act for a business (including a sole trader) and not as a private person; at checkout we ask for your business details and for this confirmation. Because of this, consumer rules such as the 14-day right of withdrawal do not apply.

Because of EU sanctions, BusinessVeno is not offered to anyone in Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran or Syria, or in the occupied regions of Ukraine, nor to anyone on an EU sanctions list. You confirm that none of this applies to you or your business.

2. The service

BusinessVeno shows how AI search engines, such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude (Anthropic), describe and recommend your business, compares this with competitors, audits your website and drafts improvements. What is included depends on your plan, as described on the pricing page. The AI engines included may change over time.

We may improve, change or remove features. We will not significantly reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you have already paid for.

3. Measurements, not guarantees

Scores and other results are BusinessVeno measurements. They are based on samples of AI answers and on the public web at a given time, and are shown with their evidence and a confidence level. AI search engines change their answers often and for reasons outside our control.

  • We do not guarantee any ranking, mention, recommendation or citation in any AI search engine or search engine.
  • We do not guarantee any increase in traffic, customers or revenue.
  • Results may be incomplete or inaccurate, and AI answers we show may contain errors made by the AI search engines themselves.

4. Drafted fixes - you decide and you publish

BusinessVeno drafts suggested changes to your website, such as text, FAQs and structured data. Drafts are created with AI and based on the facts you have verified and the information you provide. Downloaded drafts carry a machine-readable "AI-generated" mark, as the EU AI Act requires; AI can make mistakes, so read every draft before you use it.

  • BusinessVeno never publishes anything on your website or anywhere else. You decide whether to use a draft and implement it yourself.
  • You are responsible for checking that what you publish is true, lawful and suitable, including claims about prices, products, competitors and certifications.
  • Items marked "needs your confirmation" must be checked before use.

5. Your account

You must give correct information, keep your password secure and tell us if you suspect misuse of your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

An organization's owner controls its team, members and roles. The owner's plan determines what the organization can use. Members' access ends when they are removed.

6. Plans, prices and payment

  • Scout - free. Each website gets one free check of how Google's AI and Google search see it (shared by everyone who checks that website for free); regular AI and Google checks are part of the paid plans. Monthly website audits pause when you haven't used BusinessVeno for 45 days and start again the next time you sign in.
  • Analyst - $29 per month or $296 per year.
  • Strategist - $149 per month or $1,520 per year. Extra questions: $79 per month for each 100.
  • Sentinel - $349 per month or $3,560 per year. Extra questions: $79 per month for each 100.

Prices are in US dollars (USD). Orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, VAT and sales tax; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Paid plans are paid in advance through Paddle and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. We do not store your card details. Each plan has usage limits, for example the number of AI answers analysed per month. When a limit is reached, the related features pause until the next period or until you upgrade.

If you upgrade, the new plan applies immediately and the difference for the rest of the current period is charged at once, pro rata. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by email and in the app; the change applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then. Amounts already paid are not refunded, unless the law or Paddle's buyer terms require otherwise.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use BusinessVeno to break the law, infringe the rights of others or publish misleading or defamatory content about competitors;
  • add websites of businesses you do not own, run or are not authorised to act for - you may only add those you do;
  • enter personal data about private individuals that is not needed for the service;
  • use drafts or the service to manipulate the sources AI systems or search engines draw their answers from, for example with fake reviews, fake independent websites or content that hides who is behind it;
  • monitor websites in a way that is unlawful where you are, or use what you learn about competitors to mislead customers;
  • try to get around plan limits, security or bot protection, for example with multiple free accounts or automated access;
  • use the service to overload, attack or scrape websites, or to resell or redistribute the service without our written permission;
  • use data or results from BusinessVeno to build or run a search engine or AI assistant that competes with, or to harm, the search engines and AI assistants we measure;
  • copy, reverse engineer or interfere with the service.

Our crawler BusinessVenoBot fetches only public pages, respects robots.txt, never logs in or gets past blocks, and limits how often it visits each site. A website owner can ask us to stop visiting their site (see our crawler); we then also stop monitoring it for customers.

9. Your content and ours

You keep all rights to the information you enter and to your own website content. You confirm that you have the right to use what you enter, and you give us the right to process it to provide the service. You may freely use the drafts, reports and results we create for you in your own business.

The BusinessVeno software, design, methodology and brand belong to us. AI answers from third-party providers are shown for analysis for your own business. You may not resell them or publish them as a dataset, and they remain the content of the AI providers and the cited websites, subject to those providers' terms.

9a. Taking your data with you and switching

You can download everything about each of your websites at any time, free of charge, as one file in a common format (JSON) under Settings > Website > Download all data, and every table as a spreadsheet (CSV). This covers the business details, questions, keywords, competitors, AI answers, recommendations and drafts. Our own software, methods and scoring rules are not part of it.

If you want to move to another service, tell us (support@businessveno.com) or cancel in your account. You can give notice of up to two months; after that we keep the service running for a transition period of 30 days, during which you can still export everything. Your data then stays downloadable for at least 30 more days, after which it is deleted. We charge nothing for switching or exporting. Our servers are in Copenhagen, Denmark; the providers we use and where they process data are listed in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties, including AI search providers, Paddle, Google and Cloudflare. If a provider changes its service, limits access or stops it, some features may be reduced or unavailable. We will try to replace it, but cannot guarantee that every AI engine will remain available. If an AI engine is removed or becomes unavailable, this does not entitle you to a refund or price reduction; where possible we will replace it or tell you in the app.

11. Availability

We aim to keep BusinessVeno available and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or reasons beyond our control. Scheduled checks may then run later than planned.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first, and we will always tell you why we removed content or limited an account, and how to object. When an account or organization is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost customers, lost data or loss of goodwill, or for decisions you make based on measurements, AI answers or drafts, or for what you publish.

Our total liability for all claims together, whatever the legal basis, is limited to the amount you have paid us for BusinessVeno in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. If you use BusinessVeno for free, that amount is zero.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intent.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you can cancel before they take effect.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts, unless mandatory law gives you another venue.

15a. Reporting illegal content and contact point

If you think something stored in BusinessVeno is illegal or breaks these terms, write to abuse@businessveno.com with what it is, where it is and why. We look into every report and tell you what we decided. Authorities and users can reach us at support@businessveno.com, in English or Danish (single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act).
